bebejee Posted September 15, 2015 Author Share Posted September 15, 2015 Thanks I use FS, by the way whenever I click preferences my screen freezes for some time until the preferences window pops up, anyone else have this issue? Right now its been over a minute and the window hasnt opened and my screen is paused, so irritating, never happened before when I swtiched to FS two years ago. Bobbie Faulds Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Are you using Win10 with it? i'm having the same problem with FS and Win10 with it freezing then flickering back and forth between a black screen and the SL screen. It eventually settles down...until I TP to another place and then it starts all over. FPS drops to 2 (normally get at least 25 and usually 50+) and ping sim can be as high as 25000 (normally under 100). I've actually had to go back to the standard viewer for now. Anyway...on preferences in FS, first page, general...about halfway down...Name tags with a check for off or on or show briefly, then you can set the number of seconds you want it to show. wesleytron Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 In Firestorm the option to turn off name tags is also in the 'quick preferences' panel (a little collection of commonly accessed preferences, which can also be customised on the latest version).
