My friend lost items from his inventory, why?

He lost items from his inventory, he did everything for recover it (reinstall firestorm, clear cache..... etc) what he can do?

If you really must clear your cache, log in to a quiet region like Pooley or Smith. Then clear cache manually, not by using the Clear Cache button in Preferences. Do not do anything until your inventory has finished reloading.  Just be patient.
