You're probably not the only one, but there are over 46,000 other people in world right now, so they're not having any problem. It's more likely your local Internet connection.  If you are in the UK, Netherlands, or Belgium, you may have been having trouble with the DNS servers.  A lot of SL residents in that part of the world were unable to log in today because of it.
