windows 10 robot voice??

Hey guys!

 

I recently updated to windows 10 from 8.1 and now when i talk on voice in secondlife (Firestorm and Secondlife viewers) i sound robotic and VERY loud! ive tried to do clean installs and that didnt help either! not sure what else i could do... besides going back to 8.1.. skype voice works fine .. not sure if that will help. does anyone know what the issue is?

Yep, many people are having this problem on Windows 10.

This seems to fix most cases of it.
