SL residents who live far from Linden Lab's servers in California and Texas or who are using a satellite connection have this problem all the time, and there's not much they can do about it. If it takes too long for a signal to travel between your computer and SL's servers, they will not be in sync. You will experience lag, movement issues, and frequent disconnects.
