How do I pick up objects in mouse look?

I am playing the game Madpea Unia, and I need to use mouse look in play so how do I pick up an object in mouse look?

My guess is that you need to drop out of mouse look to pick up items for inclusion in your game inventory HUD. In some other games walking over the item picks it up. Your mileage may vary.  Beware of walking on a garden rake. [boot to the Head]

As far as I know you can't pick up anything in mouselook. But you can if you zoom-in. So you have to use this feature alot in this SIM. Good Luck.
