in that case you have to connect your bankaccount to the paypal first and verify it.

Using it for Second Life after that will only work if your bank allows direct withdraw form/to the paypal.

If not, no need to try because it will be rejected.

You can "verify" your PayPal account by linking it to a RL bank account.  The verification procedure is on the PayPal web site.

If you choose this method of verifying your PP account, you must be careful to always keep enough money in the PP account to meet your Second Life obligations.  Linden Lab will not wait the several days needed for money to be transferred from your bank to PayPal to them, they insist on immediate payment.
