I do not believe the blocked person (sender) gets any feedback; messages etc. are just silently dropped and not delivered to the recipient.

It would to some extent defeat the purpose if any feedback would be given.

In fact, when you IM her, you are automatically removing your IM Block. However, this does not remove her IM block of your messages.

Actually, NO. The SL IM blocking system does not allow you to know that you are blocked. Your IM will be sent but you will not know if it is delivered.
