It says (out of character) above my Avatar what does this mean?

Hi ShelterValley,

I don't know what it means, but I'll guess that you've either joined a group that assigns that tag to members, or you're wearing a "titler" that displays that over your head as part of a role play game. Right click your avatar and select "My Groups". Your currently active group will be bolded. Right click on another group and select "Activate". If the "(out of character)" title goes away, it was the group tag. If it doesn't change, or you know for sure that it's not a group tag, then open your inventory and search for "(worn", with no right paren. If you see an attachment you're not familiar with, that may be the titler. Remove/detach it and see what happens.
