Model imported for lod is different than the one I created

Another problem I am having is that when I upload a lod model the item looks stretched or deformed , compared to instead how it really is ...

 

if I load the model as a normal mesh it looks fine , but if I load as a lod it looks deformed with enlarged vertices etc ...

 

what's wrong with that importer???

Your LOD model must be exactly the same size as your Main model. Even if it is just a triangle at the top of a tree, and a triangle at the base. In between these points you can have minimal detail. I always place my LOD model onto the main model to compare sizes before exporting. At least this is how I fix that problem and it works for me.

Edit: But maybe I'm not understanding the issue, if your main model looks deformed then it's not something I've experienced with using LOD models.
