since the new update i had 20,000+ items vanish from my inventory... anyone else having this issue?

I'm not hearing of anyone having more problems than usual with their inventory, and it does sound like you've tried some things to remedy the situation.

Rarely do things go missing from an inventory forever, so I am going to redirect you to the Wiki about inventory loss. And I stress that when you clear cache and relog, to do so into a very quiet sim, such as Quarrel or Hissel (just empty waterland sims) to give your inventory a better chance to repopulate.
