As long as you can live without voice and seeing special texts fonts sucj as chinese and japanese its runs fine. I have heard peope with AMD and with onboard graphics there are more issues.

Just to underscore a major point in regards to Windows 10.....

Windows 10 Home and Professional are excellent Operating Systems. However, anyone needed higher end graphics support for gaming and similar rendering activities needs to wait a few more months until you hear that all graphics subsystem manufacturers have released current Windows 10 compliant drivers via the Windows 10 Update Facility.

Graphics Subsystem drivers that worked under Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will NOT be the drivers used under Windows 10.

Wait a few months for the Manufacturers to release the advanced drivers for gaming.

Those people using mainstream PCs with the most popular graphics subsystems on it are the 1st to be supported with the Windows 10 early roll out. If your PC barely qualified for Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 due to it's age or Graphics Subsystem, things will not necessarily be better for you under Windows 10. While your PC may operate well for most graphic presentation functions you may find that games and MMOs like SecondLife may not accept the Windows 10 GC Drivers.

Secondlife works on windows 10, tested with singularity and firestorm viewer. tested withmnvidia 6xx card. but don't install the latest nvidia driver. that one is broken on windows and create strange ide effects when you maximize the window.

Windows 10 self is other story, lots od customization options i need re gone.

for secondlife i needed to lower tge ui scaling. seems font dpi works better.

Bur not got enough time yesterday to test everything.

I was able to get Firestorm working (and I suspect the same will apply to the standard viewer) by following the compatibility settings guidelines contained in this post on Microsoft's site: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki/insider_wintp-insider_devices/how-to-install-and-update-drivers-in-windows-10/a97bbbd1-9973-4d66-9a5b-291300006293 I was able to run Firestorm after telling Win10 that it was compatible with Win8.

Well I've just upgraded to windows 10, Secondlife worked before the upgrade - I was on it, after - it doesn't want to work.

it comes up with detecting hardware dialog box then does nothing else. I've tried reinstalling but that makes no difference.

Looks like I'll have to kiss it goodbye unless anyone has any solutions.

I went to this page and followed the instructions for my HP laptop and a few other friends and Firestorm worked.  Make sure you have the viewer installed first and get this fix.  Dell laptops was a simple update from the manufacture web sight but was not the case for us with HP.  The official LL viewer did work but after some time when finding this page all were able to run the latest firestorm 5 viewer.
