How do I pased a value to HUD, and to be display in the HUD.?

Hi James,

I'll presume you want some other object to send a message to your HUD, which you'd do using one of the various forms of "Say", like llRegionSay(). Your HUD would require a "listen" handler to receive the messages.

Displaying a value is a bit more problematic. I've never tried hovertext in a HUD, but that might be the best way to display variables, if it works. There are ways to texture a prim with pictures of letters and numbers, but they're fiddly. Here's a popular script for doing that...
