I am a member of 27 groups, not 25. when I click "leave" nothing happens. What is gpoing on?

I am a member of 27 groups, not 25. when I click "leave" in a highlighted group  nothing happens. What is gpoing on? How can I leave a group?

Group limits have been raised to 42 max, What viewer are you using?

 

Sometimes the groups server can be slow and not able to leave the group right away after you click leave

Possibly it's the viewer you are using. Use V2 or a V2 based viewer or a 3rd party viewer that has 42 groups support like Phoenix, Cool VL etc.

If you are on the old V1 viewer from LL you can see the groups you're in and you should be able to leave groups but not join more unless you go below 25.

As you say you can't leave a group all I can suggest is try a different viewer and see if you can then.

Stuff with Groups often have glitches, they are notorious for random weirdness, so its possible what doesn`t work now with work later or after a relog or tomorrow.

If it is urgent that you leave the group now, you can always ask another group member with the relevant ability to eject you.
