Is anyone else having issues logging into second life since the tsunami issue in japan?

Ever since the incident in Japan last friday I was having difficulties logging into SL as well as loading secondlife.com and the marketplace. Either it takes forever to load or it wont load at all.

And when I do get to login i might as well logout again because swanking connection messes up the communication with the sl server. Friend list, groups and about land info won't load which is also the cause why I would most likely crash after a few minutes.

I got ridiculous ping result with secondlife.com, secondlife servers and marketplace, I'm adding a little sample:

Ah...totally possible you have lost a primary link given the ping times you are seeing. Not sure there is anything you can do. Maybe set your bandwidth down a bit to avoid packet loss

Yeah..I believe so too..just wondering if its just me or anyone out there with the same issue.

I deal with this same issue on and off. In fact it has lasted over a month now and as we speak I am dealing with it again. Groups are non-existant, names come up as loading....land info even on the land that I own does not come up, and the loading is extremely slow. A fix to this would be terriffic!
