how can I find items under edit that have 'zoomed off' somewhere?

I was editing a very small and slender and fragile looking vase and rose stem blossom and thinking they were close to the location I wanted them in I came out of edit and 'lost' it.  I think it is in the next rental house over from ours (the outside walls and interiors look alike) but it could be in their wall and is not readily visible.

Hi Gazelle,

Oy, I hate when that happens. Go to the Build menu and select Linksets (or Pathfinding->Linksets). That'll give you a list of objects on the sim. Click on the "Owner" column heading to sort everything by owner name, then find yourself in the list. Hopefully your wayward vase and rose will be in there somewhere. You can select objects and "Take" them directly if you are close enough, otherwise you can teleport to them (there's a button for that) and then take them.
