Will groups delete if creator of the groups deleted their account?

I decided to make a new avatar. I was wondering if the groups that i created on my alt would delete since i deleted my account. I was hoping this would to pay my excompanion of gor a lesson for stealing my groups. Stealing by tricking, lying, and pissed at me for rl so i would leave the group. I was told by someone that if i deleted my account it would delete the groups.

So long as a group has at least two members (of any rank) it stays in existence.

Yes, as Maddy said, a group will stay in existence as long as it has two or more members. Not only that, but the owner of a group cannot leave it as long as there are any non-owners in it. (You can leave if there is another co-owner, however.)

if you are the owner you can eject all other members, except owners/co owners.

I that brings the group to less than two members and you leave the group will get deleted, if there are more owners you can do practically nothing against the group keeping alive.
