Claire Serpente
Some days ago I decided I wanted to reformat my computer, get rid of some garbage and start fresh with it. Secondlife was working fine and stuff on Windows Vista Home Premuim. When I reformatted my computer I installed Windows 7. I installed the right viewer, but wasnt able to access SL. After messing with some settings, I was finally able to get back on, only until I restarted my computer.I have now reverted back to Windows Vista and Still Secondlife Cannot be accessed. Keep getting the Error "Secondlife Cannot be Access from this computer." But I am able to log in using metabolt. Does anyone know what is wrong? Knowl Paine
The error message sounds like your hardware has been banned. Outside of that possibility, I have been reading some comments at different sites that say there is a problem with the graphics drivers while using vista. They recommend using xp until a solution is found. Maybe it can help you. The restart makes me think an application initiates shortly after start up and disrupting the current process. guessing now, good luck :smileyhappy:
Dale Innis
I can't find it in the new knowledge base, but in the old one it's: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Why_does_Second_Life_say_%22You_cannot_log_into_Second_Life_from_this_location%22%3F And yeah, you'll probably want to file a ticket...
