Parsing a Google Calendar in a script?

I know that there are some http reply and http response functions in LSL but I've never used them before and don't quite understand what they do or how they do it.

What I'd like to do is write a script that goes after one particular Google calendar and parse information it retrieves from that calendar, and I'd like to provide today's date as an argument to the http call so I could, specifically, retrieve calendar information that relates to the current day.

Is this do-able and, if so, could you provide some pointers as to how to do this, please?

Thank you in advance,

Rutherford "Ford" Beresford

I don't think you can maintain sessions (login.) So you would not be able to get your calender data directly in world unless you can make it publicly accessible somehow.

The event notifier script in the LSL wiki library is a good example of how to do something like what you want.  Unfortunately, however, Google has changed its interface within the past 6 months, so that script no longer works.  Still, it should give you an idea of how to approach the problem if Google ever gets friendly again.
