Hi folks ...

I have several scripts that are part of attachments, such as collars.  When I'm inside a mesh building these will not run.  Scripts that are not a part of an attachment, such as sit and pose scripts in furniture, run fine inside the same building.   Is this expected?

If this has already been asked or should be posted elsewhere I'm sorry, but I haven't found it.

Thanks for any coment or suggestin you may have.

hmm well, call me sceptical but unless you're at ground level and the building is on a parcel with scripts disabled... i suspect there's a different issue.

A script runs server side, it doesn't knownit's inside a mesh building. :)

How far away is it from the llSay'er?

As long as you don't try it in a no script zone the scripts will always run. It doesnt matter what kind of object.

So you asked the wrong question. The question is - what can a script prevent from working in that special case.

A special property can be required, like the number of faces.

Touch can fail due to object physics and bounding boxes.

Chat messages can fail due to distance. It's the center of the root of a linkset that listens. So most probably you are out of range. Try to shout for testing.
