why when i uploaded a mesh clothing kit after i rigged it its shape changed and it became sectioned

hi i uploaded a mesh kit that turned to be unrigged  but it looked like proper  clothing but after i rigged it it had that shape with sections in it

No one can answer your question without further information about the mesh kit. Anyway you should ask the creator of the kit first.

Rigging isn´t the easiest thing and sure not when talking about someone elses mesh.

Watch some tutorials about rigging if you are unsure about that process, start with easier bits not a full outfit or avatar or ...
