0 Madelaine McMasters
Hi Francesca, I forgot that there's another way to find the chat logs, in addition to the method Rolig pointed you to. Go to Preferences->Chat and look near the bottom of the window. You'll find a "Location" text box that allows you to specify a place to store IM chat logs. If you click anywhere in the text inside that box and type Cmd-A (select all), you'll copy the chat log path to your clipboard. Then, go to Finder and select "Go to Folder..." from the "Go" menu. You'll get a text box in which to paste (Cmd-V) the path. Click the "Go" button and you'll get a window showing you the subfolders for any and all avatars you have. Select the account folder for the appropriate avatar and you'll find all the chat logs. In Firestorm, you find the path to the chat logs in the Preferences->Network and Cache. You can skip the copy/paste step by clicking "Open" after the text box. You'll be taken directly to the chat log folder. IM logs are named after the person you were chatting with. The public chat log is in "chat.txt". Good luck!
