Was wondering if the land tools have changed in the last few months....

I swear, they don't seem to be as precise as they use to be and cover a larger area now, even though I have my size and strength to minimum.  Any workarounds on getting rid of the jagged edges where land meets water?

I haven't noticed any change in the area covered. 

The jagged edges you have are caused by too abrupt of an elevation change, especially if the edge is straight up or down.  You could slope it more then add a mesh or sculpted cliff face over the land.  Or, try sloping the edge into the water more if that is the effect you are going for.  You can also bring the edge all the way up to the region border and then flatten it, but then of course, you won't be able to enter the water.
