If you are the same person who asked a while ago as Joshhex about how to solve a handshake problem, I suggest taking a good look at your Internet connection.  It's not the speed of the service you should be concerned about.  You can run Second Life quite well with narrow bandwidth.  The problem is usually reliability. SL transfers data back and forth between your viewer and its servers 45 times a second.  If you are dropping data packets or if you have a delay somewhere in the pipeline, the signals will be out of sync.  You will either fail to connect, have very annoying lag, or crash frequently. 

If you are using a wireless connection, don't.  (See http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Wifi-and-satellite-connections/ta-p/1296823 )  If you have not rebooted your router and modem recently, do it now.  Just unplug both from the power for a few minutes, then plug them back in again and restart your computer.  Take a good look at the system requirements for Second Life and be sure that your computer meets them.  If you are using an old or underpowered computer, a Chromebook, a tablet, or some other device that is not supported, you will not be able to connect.  FInally, you may want to review other suggestions for testing and improving your connection, at http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/

Be a dear and just go to the local gamer store or Internet portal and buy a game to play where your talents can be put to use in a fashion commentate with your unbridled anger. Perhaps a nice bloody 1st person shooter like

You would find Second Life clearly mundane with the social pressure of having to communicate with the 10's of thousands of its inhabitants enjoying themselves and being creative.

Also make sure your PC, PC graphics Card and network are up to the task of running a modern game so you don't get a repeat of your experience trying to install and run Second Life.

You will need to take a walk around the block to clam down before contacting the support departments at gamer sites in that most don't suffer angry posters and the paid-service support will require that you have the ability to actually describe the exact issue you are experiencing in order to obtain any support whatsoever.
