If the door appears to be locked when you try to enter the house, either something has gone wrong, or you've got the wrong house.  The door should never be locked when the owner clicks it.

First make sure that you are at the right house - Your name should be on the parcel name.

Then go to About Land >> Options and set scripts to run for All Residents.

If that fixes the problem, go and have a word with LiveChat, because there were problems such as this last month and they are supposed to have been fixed. You may also experience problems with the control panel if its a reoccurance of the old bugs.
