Where did she buy the $L?  If it was from an unauthorized seller, good luck.

If it was from an authorized third party $L reseller, contact that reseller.

If it was from the Lindex, here on this website or by using the in world Buy $L viewer link, first have her check her balance here on the website on her account page, and check her transactions to see if the purchase actually took place.  The balance shown in the viewer in world can often be incorrect.
