Can't remove Hair Base!

Hello...I purchase a 'wyld hair' yesterday that has a purple hair base.....for the life of me, I CANNOT get the thing off!  I've tried replacing it with another hairbase, and the purple one remains, I've tried signing off and on, nothing.......help!  Cannot walk around with this thing on my head forever! lol........Thanking you in advance for your help. There are two types of hair base. One is a system hair base and you can't take them off you can only replace them. Try searching in your inventory for bald and see if that does it.

The other type is a tattoo, right click on yourself and select Take Off / Clothes / Tattoo
