I used to go to Blanche's Ballroom until they closed.

Now I go to Smooth Jazz and Sweethearts. Smooth is nice in the evenings, and Sweethearts is so much better since they changed ownership..

I like places that there is fun people and chatty types. I tend to frequent those the most. :matte-motes-grin:

Not a lot of mention of blues here.

I'd have to admit that I"m a bit biased but  if you've never actually listened to blues you might just turn into a fan.   I'd be wrong in saying that the blues clubs are exclusivly blues or that a lot of blues dj's doin't  wander a bit but in saying that, there is a wealth if good clubs and good dj's who do try to stick to the genre. .

Check out the Junkyard

Crossroads

The Wharf

Cay's.

Just to be fair to this post, I also dj blues on SL  It's a huge passion.

My Fav Club!!!

I love going to Vipera. They have different Venues to have event and they have event every night from 7-11 slt.  Friendliest HANG OUT in all of SL. Greedy table, cuddles spots, magical  fun places to hang out, of course dancing, and THE MOST AMAZING DJ line up in SL!

Vipera made the SL destination guide AND the Highlights blog!

What she said!

I love club music as much as the ballroom stuff, but steer clear of the clubs due to the brain-twisting,  gesture-bating that goes on in most. It sucks to only want to hear club type stuff at home or some place private or even in an empty club due to that but I'd rather it than the "hoooooo"-ing and "thats my song" and taking up 9 chat panels to draw fingers out of asterisks or whatever. I mean, "really?"

I can agree with that. I'm the General Manager/DJ/Hostess/Dancer at Clear Skies (M-rated) and I've actually had to say something to people in chat about the "howling wolf" or some other gesture that takes up eons of room. Our dancers strip and there have been times that they'll give their emote in chat but someones gesture bumped it out of the way. 2-3 lines is ok as long as they don't have bunches of symbols and stuff. The most I have is 5-6 and those are my hosting gestures and I use them when there has been a moment of no chat. We love to have conversations at our club! We love to talk to our guests and get to know them.

As a gay man I preferr gay club. But, most of them allow only male avatars; this is good but don't have to be a fixed rule.

For this reason I like Klub Kermesse (a pool on the beach) that is a gay club but open to all open minded ppl and without any pornographic element: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ruby%20Dust/216/75/25

Another club I like -but it's strongly reccomanded only to gay adult male ppl- is TRAP-hot club for hot men. It lie on a skybox over Beach Paradise N.5 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ruby%20Dust/216/75/25 and we can reach it by teleport we can find on landing point. As per some pics into the club I suggest to no-gay ppl don't go there if they don't agree with gay hard sex XXX pics.

I would avoid Soul Sensations as they have issues with just banning people for no reasons and with out given explanations ..Yes they can ban who ever they want for  what ever reason or no reason at all ...but is that how to run a place?   They even will ban you if you a member of a group they deem what they call it dangerous?

Whether you're single and looking or have a sweetheart of your own, come on out to MFC every Monday from 2-6 for date night!!! Let romantic music and a beautiful woodland setting be your guides to love. We have many secluded and hidden areas to sneak away to and some of the best couples furniture on SL. Come on out and enjoy a night of romance!!!

The Nikopol Club is so amazing Dance club second life place. The owner and associed have create an ambient sim with a garden, a pyramid like a cyberpunk style.

The Nikopol dance club is electro oriented music with trance & progressive too. The Djs mix are so cool and lot of djs are professional djs RL.

The place is available here (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cerulean Isle/161/43/1822)

Ambrosia is a joke, the owner is an absolute dufus, treating his staff and VIP's like complete crap, he needs to learn how to treat his NOT-employees, before he can expect to get any real good traction, i went to his club the other day, and it was Dead, i wondered why, i found out today... i suggest staying away, from both an employment point of view AND a VIP Point of view... unlesss you like being berated, the man thinks he is a real world C.E.O Boss, and throws his weight around like candy.

i DO NOT SUGGEST THIS CLUB
