Piper Moonshadow
I was just forced to install the update, and I'm getting errors on many of the files, such as the llplugins, appsettings, and a few others. Anyone else experiencing this?

Cinnamon Lohner
You got me all nervous cause I had my 2.5 viewer set to download and install new versions automatically. I got the notice of the 2.5.1 was ready to install once I logged off and back on. So I did and no problems at all.:smileysurprised: No errors installing and seems to work fine. So not sure what problem you are seeing. Are you downloading the install file first or trying to install directly from the web? --Cinn
Alessandra Eberlain
When I was logged on, it said it had downloaded an update and wanted to install. I let it, but when it got to the image plugins, it started saying it had errors writing files. Went to the site and tried downloading the intstaller from there and running it instead. Same problem occurred. Maybe they fixed the installer though, I'll try again.
Cinnamon Lohner
Could be the version. I did my XP system and that went ok. Working on the Win7 system doing something else at the moment. Will try it a little later tonite and see if it installs ok there. --Cinn
Alessandra Eberlain
It looks like some processes were still running in the background. After downloading a fresh installer and rebooting the compy, it installed just fine. Not sure if it was a factor, but I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. Piper Moonshadow
Fixed! Thanks Alessandra! I don't knwo why I didn't think of rebooting to begin with. Could be because I'ma n00b. :smileyvery-happy:
