why when my avatar makes certain poses do her hands go through her breasts or back?

Question

Hi nerthuschild,

It's probably a mix of AO and avatar. Animations are created with some avatar dimensions in mind, and if those dimensions are changed, the animation may put a hand into the avatar body. You could imagine this happening for male animations used on female avatars, where there's a significant difference in breast and caboose geometry.

You could change your shape to avoid the AO problem, or you could search far and wide for animations that don't collide with your shape, or you could do as I do...

... ignore it!

;-).

I agree 100% with Maddy.  Ignore it.  The advent of mesh clothing has made this worse.  If I stand with my hands behind my back, they are usually inside my mesh jacket.

The problem is so bad for those who wear large mesh breasts and butts that some AO makers have begun making "Tango friendly" versions with animations that take the larger volume of these appliances into account.
