I get this message even taking credit in the account when trying to buy a project meh body

This section is for asksing questions about SL itself. We do not provide support for products made by other residents because there are too many of them out there and it is impossible to be expert in all of them.

Read the instruction notecard that came with the product. If you didn't get instructions or don't understand them, you best bet is to contact the creator, their customer service reps or join their support group, if they have one, and ask for support there.

I found the shopping system at The Mesh Project to be very cumbersome and confusing too. 

Before spending a lot on anyone's all-mesh body, please read my blog post, "What's the Best Looking Avatar?" and Pussycat Catnap's extensive review of several mesh bodies.

Wrong place to ask this question, however...

 

Around the shops you'll see giant golden circles with money amounts. You need to pay lindens to these golden rings for the amounts depicted. When you pay it your HUD will be credited the total you pay, and that can be used to buy things.
