Linden Water

I have a four-sim Role Play Kingdom. Is there anyway to have Linden Water surrounding us for the Pirates and Merchants?

If you want water that can be accessed for sailing and boating, you'll need to purchase and pay for homestead sims or similar, in addition to your four main RP sims. As far as I know, LL won't provide usable water sims adjacent to private holdings without charging you for it. 

There is a Linden-owned boating area, with 16 or more adjacent water sims. But as far as I know LL won't let private sim owners park their sims on its edges to get free boating access form their priavte sims.

I think we are missing an important question: Is Linden water safe to drink? Will it cause birth defects in prim babies? What are they hiding in the water? Ever noticed there are no sewage plants?

Yeah, except for the New England sims adjacent to the Blake Sea. I wonder what FIC deals went on with that!

The only way I know of to get navigable water is to own it.  You could buy twelve OpenSpace regions and place them around your four region island kingdom, but that would be terribly expensive.  The easiest way is to accept that to have some water, you'll have to sacrifice some land area, and terraform your sims to provide a wide water border around the land.

Interesting.  I was wondering the same thing a while back.  Would be nice if Linden Labs would set up a pay per use Wormhole like TP system so someone could sail to a point where ones island/sim water ends, pay a couple of L and get access to a large Linden ocean for a few hours or so?  Me ...  I am finishing setting up my "Abyss"...  [big skybox deal] Deeper than wider and using some great free items as well as some of my own underwater creations modes.  More scuba and mini- sub fun than big water sailing though.
