Where do group invitations come on a viewer please?

Where do group invitations come on a viewer please? I am getting no invitations even though people are trying to invite me to groups.

You don't say which viewer you're using, so I'm going to assume it's SL Standard. If this isn't true, you should update your question and perhaps seek help from sources relating to the third-party viewer of your choice.

Top right of the viewer, there's an 'Envelope' icon. If you're logged in when you receive the group request, it'll be shown clearly.

You may also have hidden notifications of this type, you can check notification settings in Preferences (Ctrl+P) > Notifications, and removing any group-based notifications from the lower list.

Besides the Notifications "envelope" icon, you may also see group invites in the Nearby Chat window.
