why can i not send messages on group chat?

When i open a group chat box window and type a message, i get a pop up saying it could not connect to the group. What am i doing wrong?

Thats a group error, sometimes wait a bit and retry again.

It also could be that the group owner does not allowed people to chat on the group.

Hi, you aren't doing anything wrong. SL outgrew the capacity of the group chat system a long time ago, and it simply cannot keep up. Right now, all we can do is try again when there are errors.

LL has built a whole new group chat system that uses XMPP. Right now it is still in testing, but we all hope the situation will be much better in a few months when it is finished and ilve.
