Spinell
Hi everyone. A little help with texturing and nodes, please. I want to make this texture more defined, so the patern kind of pops out a bit more.I'm not sure which nodes to use for that effect. I played around with a couple of them, but couldn't get the desired effect. I the pattern to sort of pop out in comparison with the background colour.Any suggestions? Thank you!!! Jake Koronikov
How about taking the "Image Texture" color output and creating a "Math, multiply" node. Then connecting the multiply output value into "Material Output" displacement slot. Then playing with multiply node to get a correct effect. Dunno..this was just a theoretical quick idea : D
Drongle McMahon
Good quick idea - works even better if you put the color through a color-to-rgb converter before the multiplier.

Spinell
Thank for the sggestions! It looks a bit better, but for some reason, it's not baking properly (see on the right? no pattern, just noise). Any suggestions? EDIT: Never mind, it seems like the problem is not coming from the bake from the mesh itelf. I need to find out what's wrong with it...
