Can you set Custom badge text area transparency?

I was looking at this myself just now.

I don't think there is a way to change the transparency (or colour) of the text. However, I've just managed to make mine a bit better by making the actual background image a bit more transparent as you can hopefully see <

Also, I've discovered that if you save an image as .png with trnasparecy, it should keep that transparency. I've just used this for my new cheese avatar!

:smileyvery-happy:

ETA: Just noticed another minor annoyance. As 'solutions' is shown here in Answers but not in the forums, it makes the badge size different and can mess the image size up a bit. We can turn stuff off from the badges though.

Hi all! Is it possible to adjust the badge text display area to be semi transparent so that your custom image shows through more?

That would be really nice if you could.

Darn it shows up differently all the time :smileysad:

Hi

It depends on which badge theme you select

I think you have the default. For more transparency use one of the two I circled. Bayfog will show a little bar with lines on the right side. I'm using Tokyo Madness.

Test it to see what you like most.

PS You can remove solutions from people if you get a better answer that fits your question.

ChuckBaggett on 03-02-2011 09:46 PM The text that says Posts: Topics, Solutions on your badge is white with a translucent background, the other people in this thread have black text on an opaque white background. Why this difference?

The difference is the badge theme selected.
