Heyo,

Have 2 questions, as mentioned in the title.

1. If a sim restarts or crashed or anything similar, do the objects inside change UUID's?

2. After a sim boots up again, does any event trigger? And does every script in the sim get reset?

It's crucial for me to know. I'm scripting a server which holds data in lists, but those lists clear on a reset, so I've made 2 backup computers. One in the same sim to update the external one, which is the second back up computer. When the original sim restarts, the external computer reboots the 2 others and updates them. Vice versa when the external sim restarts.

Thanks for your help!

1.  No, your rezzed objects remain rezzed, so they keep their UUIDs. The only time you get a new UUID is when you rez a new instance of an object.

2. Yes, you can script the changed event to detect a region restart.  Your script will not normally reset when there is a region restart, for example, but you could force them to by writing

change (integer change){     if (change & CHANGED_REGION_START)          {               llResetScript();          }     }}
