I have an oculus rift DK1. and it is not being recognised

I have an oculus rift DK1 and I am using build "Second Life 3.7.18 (295296) Oct  8 2014 19:25:50 (Second Life Project OculusRift)".

 

It will not toggle to HMD mode, telling me that it "Cannot enter HMD mode because there is no HMD hardware detected".

 

I have been able to use my rift for each and every demo I have tried so far but these have relied upon full screening the demo on the rifts display.

What do I need to do to get this working in secondlife?

It should function automatically.  Do all the standard tricks .... Double check that everything is plugged in and that you don't have competing software running.  Check to be sure that your drivers are up to date. Reboot your computer.  ....  Otherwise, you're in pretty new territory.  There still aren't many OR users in SL to compare notes with.  I suggest reposting your question in the Technology forums.  If anyone has an answer, it's more likely to be there.
