It will be a natural progression based on community participation. Here are some of the general criteria used in the formula that automatically determines ranks/roles.

1. Active participation in various areas including but not limited to: kudos, contributions that include appropriate posting, and accepted solutions

   You may notice that your rank has changed on your profile or on your messages. When that happens, look for additional permissions under the My Settings and under the options menu on your posts.

My best guess, our initial ranking is tied to correct SLA answers.

Something is amiss. My post count was reduced by almost 2000 posts and this AV shows as honored. Very strange.

There is a formula that sets the rank/role.  It does factor in old posts and answered questions.  Log ins also count.  Hope that helps!

How drole.

You may want to reconsider giving people rank zero with the standard phrase "as the result of your contributions to the community". As an ex-mentor that was not pleasant to read. I did not know untikl now that it'ìs connected to the forum community instead of the in-world one.

Anyway, bad idea. Drama opportunities abound. Does the phrase 'pulling rank' ring a bell?
