Impressive work although I would have liked the paintings names to be highlighted as it is done for the Sixtine Chapel.
Jo Yardley
Dresden gallery is indeed amazing. We have a small museum in 1920s Berlin as well. One hall shows a photo exhibition about daily life in RL 1920s Berlin, the other hall has a monthly changing exhibition about all sorts of subjects. This month 1920s modern art. Jo Yardley
Yes, they are for sale. Have to warn people that we are a 1920s roleplay sim so you will be asked to dress in 1920s clothing (freebies available at entrance).

Oddball Otoole
We have a museum called 'The Guitar Museum.' At the Guitar Museum, you'll learn about some of the world's most famous real life and Second Life guitar players. Walk around, find your favorite guitar player and discover more about each artist. We have live gigs and some of the hottest DJ's on a regular base. If we have no gig or soemthing, you can enjoy some of the best SL musicians via the land stream. There is a 'game room' where you can play some games or go on a coin hunt. All are welcome!! See you there, Oddy

Jo Yardley
Our 1920s famous glamorous women exhibition has now closed but soon we will have a exhibition with Egyption artifacts in our museum and we still have the little gallerie in the bad side of town that sells modern (1920s) art. Our museum has a hall with temporary exhibitions so anyone interested in showing some nice (1920s suitable) stuff is welcome to contact us. Jo Yardley
We have just opened our new current exhibition of the Von Hildesheim - Fordyce - Snatterton expedition to the Valley of the Kings artifacts in our museum in Berlin. An absolutely fantastic exibition made by our tenant Herr Clarrington. Come and have a look, just remember our 1920s dresscode.
Misha Nikita
I know this thread has been here a while but it looks like it needs more answers. Here is my current list of favorites from the hundreds art galleries I have visited in SL. I checked all these today. they are in no particular order. This is a gallery by a good, prolific 3D artist with some very expensive equipment and software. Very diverse subjects. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Necros/214/175/3523 Elate Shan's Gallery - skilled and prolific artist working mostly in water colors. Wonderful scenery and nature pictures. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Montague/85/106/21 The gallery of Bd Kohime - very good art in many different media including pencils, pastels, watercolor, and oils. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pinastri/144/116/21 This is the bright, colorful surreal work of tshirtkikill straaf. Some really fun stuff! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Admicile/234/108/29 The wonderful watercolors of my friend Sisse Singh. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Panquehue/206/229/64 And finally my own gallery...which I will let speak for itself... http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Seeping%20Mire/32/188/
GregMaschak
Hello, Since I can't seem to find an answer myself, I thought that maybe I can ask it directly, so here goes. I am very new to SL, though I joined for a specific reason that being that I want create a 3D photo art gallery in which I want to link directly to my website. From there I wish to allow ANYONE read access to my gallery, whether they belong to SL or not. For my NOT SL users, they would get to the SL gallery via a direct Internet link, (and via some downloadable viewer), and be able to view and walk through the gallery just like everyone else, though their perspective would be first person and that they would have no aviator. To any SL's in the room, these individuals would render as general aviators, though no one could interact with them. Walking or clicking an exit sign would return them to my website. Is this doable in SL today?
Jo Yardley
Heinrich Zille exhibition opens in Berlin Rudolf Heinrich Zille (January 10, 1858 – August 9, 1929) was a famous German illustrator and photographer, specialised in portraying daily life of the common, often poor people of Berlin. His subjects included poverty, drug abuse, prostitution and other darker sides of 1920s Berlin but he somehow always managed to show the good and positive of mankind as well. In the Schlossmuseum in Berlin you can now see some of his best work. Many of these pictures inspired me to build 1920s Berlin and when you look at them you may recognize locations and even characters. You can see some pictures of the opening here in our Flickr Album.: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1920sberlin/sets/72157627725494123/with/6224869601/ http://1920sberlinproject.wordpress.com/2011/10/09/zille/
