different inventory on secondlife beta :/

Why do i have a different inventory on the beta grid? I logged on to try out some textures on an item only to find out that the item wasnt in my inventory on the beta grid (along with a lot of other things that ARE in my inventory on the normal grid. Why is this? How do i refresh the inventory so it has everything in it?

Beta (Aditi) grid is a whole different entity to the main (Agni) grid. However, usually you should be able to replicate your entire inventory from main grid to Beta grid by changing your password.  It can take a day or two for this to take effect, so be patient.  And if you have not done so already, please join the Second Life Beta group (on both the Agni and Aditi grids) so that you can pick the brains of those who are currently regulars of Beta grid.

If you use the "search" feature on the Beta grid to look up profiles - your own included - you can get an idea of how recently or often people change their passwords.  Just like inventories, profiles only update when we change our passwords.

 

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Your Linden Dollar balance on the Beta grid will change when you change your password. Obviously this is not real money, just play dollars for using on the Beta grid.
