Yes, and it doesn't make any difference which viewer you are using.  The setup is entirely in your smart TV itself.  When you access its setup menu, you'll see that it asks you for the source of your digital signal.  Usually that is either a cable or a Blue-Ray or DVD player.  However, if you have plugged the HDMI cable from the back of your TV into your computer instead, the smart TV will show that as an option.  Essentially, you are using your TV as a large monitor for your computer.  The specific details of this setup will depend on how your own smart TV works, but that's all there is to it.

There is not an eligant solution... but, as Rolig suggests a cable will work.

If your video card does ot have a HDMI out you can get an adapter, DVI to HDMI.

While you can get 50' and 100' (30m) HDMI cables, try to keep it under 30' (10m).  DVI cables are limited to about 15' (5m).

There is also the possibility on Samsung to do a smart phone or tablet screen share from Android devices and run SL Go.

Hi Raine,

Rolig and Nalates have addressed using your TV as a monitor for your computer, but If you are asking whether you can directly run Firestorm on the processor in your smart TV, the answer is no. Full SL viewers only run on Intel based computers running Window, Mac OS, or Linux. There are lightweight (limited or no real time graphics) viewers for Android. I know of no TVs that run Android.

If you were asking about using your TV as a monitor, you won't get 4K video unless you've got a very new PC with a whizzy graphics card capable of driving 4K. However, your TV's upscaler will make SL look better than it would on a regular HDTV.

Good luck!
