"Has anyone else had issues with this? If so, is there any way around it? It's a pretty crappy system that tells you that something is amiss, but fails to give you any clue what that might be so you can fix it."

There's a whole crapload of discussion based around this maturity tagging going on over at the Commerce side...

Here is a thread created by a Linden - http://blogs.secondlife.com/message/600756#600756

And you'll find lots of other threads about the same thing there too should you be looking for people who've experienced the same - http://blogs.secondlife.com/community/commerce

Everyone seems as miffed about it as you are (and rightfully so); no fixes yet so far as i can tell.

I've been battling SL Marketplace's automatic tagging system regarding two texture packs I'm listing. The system automatically converts the General rating for the textures to Moderate, telling me that "...the text in the description field forced a change in the maturity level."

There is absolutely nothing objectionable in the descriptions, or in the texture packs. I've tried multiple versions, different wordings, had other people read through them... nothing works.

Has anyone else had issues with this? If so, is there any way around it? It's a pretty crappy system that tells you that something is amiss, but fails to give you any clue what that might be so you can fix it.

If you want to read the descriptions, they are at:

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I know exactly why they are marked Moderate. You have the following in your description: "512 x 512". If you substitute "by" for the "X", your listing will remain General. So far, I have learned that the following characters will move a listing from General to Moderate: X 5..... oh, you might have to get rid of those 5's too in the 512. One has to be creative to circumvent the Lindens in how they, ahem, set things up.

Yoki: You were totally right... eliminating the "x" in the texture dimensions allowed the rating to change to General. I changed the "x" to the word "by," so the dimensions now read "512 by 512".

Think how much time and aggravation could be saved for vendors if SL would just tell us this stuff upfront, or if they had considered the fact that dimensions are used all the time in descriptions... for structures, prims, textures, and more. A lone "x" doesn't automatically mean something is X-rated.

Thanks, Yoki.
