the viewer isn't working

ok i have a thing that came up that was the update so i updated the viewer and when i go to get back on it nothing happned so i had to remove it from my computer and redownload back on to my computer and reinstall it but it sill did the same thing what did i do worng

You should uninstall the new viewer and re-install the previous version, assuming you saved the download file (check your Downloads folder.) If you can't go back to the previous version, then download and try one of the third party viewers.

You can also add your voice to BUG-7776.  You're not the only person having this problem.

I have the same problem. The viewer told me it downloaded an update, I chose to install it and restart SL, it installed, ran it's hardware check and then quit.

Seems to be either a viewer or an installer bug.

Uninstalling, reinstalling, clean reinstalling and clean reinstall a new download all didn't work.

im having same problem after I did update it cuts off after italizing Vhs then cuts off
