Why cant i "connect to a simulator" when trying to log in?

When trying to log in it says, "cannot connect to simulator".

Because it's Tuesday: there is the weekly rolling maintenance on the main server channel. Try to login to a different region or just be patient.

And, ALWAYS have a look at the grid status on your dashboard when you get this kind of message.
