Why is my Linden balance in the negative?

This is the first time I logged into Second Life in 4 years. I was confused to see that my balance was negative, especially since I remember putting money into my account a long time ago.  How did this happen? Also, what can I do to fix this?

It sounds like you belong to one or several groups charging liabilities. Quite a lot of money can have been gone in 4 years. Check the groups you belong to and see which ones are charging group fees. You may want to leave those so they will not charge you in the future. 

As for the Lindens gone, I'm afraid there is nothing you can do. Just put some money into your account to have a positive balance again and move on... Oh, and welcome back!
