adult ratings on the market place

So im listed as an adult inworld but for some odd reason when i go to the market place it says im not and i dont see an option to switch it....ive checked and rechecked all locations were i could be listed as an adult i dont see what the problem is

you might want to go to preferences and click the adult rating as well that might fix the problem

Your Preference setting only controls which areas you have access to in world.  If you want to be able to view and purchase Adult items on the Marketplace, you'll need to indicate a rating preference there too.  Its menu is right at the top of the page in Marketplace, dead center.  To complete the roster of things you might want an Adult rating for, be sure to do the same thing in Search, where you'll see the G, M, A buttons in the upper left corner.

At first glance, it seems silly that you need to indicate your Adult preference in three places, but some people ONLY want to be able to visit Adult regions in world, but not see Adult items in Marketplace, for example.

There should be an option to select your maturity preferences in the Marketplace.  See the circled area in the screenshot below.

 

If you don't see that, try refreshing the page in your browser.  Or try a different browser.  Also, ad blockers can mess with a web page's appearance.  If you DO see it, but can't change it, file a Support Case with Linden Lab.  Some people have complained about this problem before you, so you might also want to file a JIRA bug report.
