Okay, so a while ago something happened to my new computer, which I got for Christmas, we are not sure what happened, but now, I can't run any graphics higher than low on Secondlife as it will just crash my game, and sometimes my computer.

I've tried several different viewers and none are working.

Any ideas?:matte-motes-agape:

It's your video drivers. Reinstall those.

Or a failing graphics card altogether. Either way it sounds like the graphics card is not working, so SL uses the integrated graphics processor (CPU or motherboard).

If it's a laptop, it might even be a power saving setting.

Lucie, can you post yor system specifications? You can find them in SL, in the help menu on top of the screen, select "about Second Life"

If you're on a desktop, most desktops disable the onboard video (and complain if you have a monitor plugged into it) if you have a graphics card installed, and if that fails and you're plugged into the graphics card, you just don't get video.  So...I'm leaning towards drivers.  Especially if it's a Windows machine; driver issues are notorious on that platform.
