How can I stop the Sale Mails from the SL Marketplace?

Hi Guys, I'm a merchant on the SL Marketplace and I sometimes get like 20 sales a day, that pretty much spams my Inbox, I usually turned off notifications on XStreet for Specific products, but I can't find any way to do it at all on the New Marketplace

At the moment, you can't turn email notifications off.

However, Brodesky Linden has identified this and offered an approach to fixing with various email opt in/out options in this JIRA:

On a side note, you may also want to consider setting up rules in your email inbox. I like getting sale notifications etc as it is a useful added level of record keeping should there be a problem with delivery etc. I set mine up so that all emails from the marketplace (no-reply@marketplace.secondlife.com) go straight to a specific folder in my email inbox. I can then quickly scan through them separately from my main emails and refer back to them if needed.

I personally am pretty annoyed about this issue - LL clearly couldn't care less, as is visible from their reply.

hm... well, alternatively, you could stop selling a freebie which has enough keywords to be considered spam...

just an idea -  lots of merchants are abusing the keywords, and that simply cripple the current Marketplace (the search puts too much emphasis on the keywords in my opinion)
