Let me delete my own group

I recently found out I can't delete a group which I own. Anyone else think that's pretty ridiculous? 

 

And you think that's dumb, get the workaround:

"Eject everyone in your group and if you leave it alone for 2 weeks, it will automatically be deleted."

 

So I have to eject everyone (a ridiculously lengthy process, and more so the more members you have) and wait 2 weeks to boot, vs just letting me delete it with a single click.

It isn't two weeks, its 48 hours unless the group owns land.  You don't have to leave the group yourself as long as you are the only member.  Non land owning groups must have 2 members to stay active.

• just turn all group members into owners
• send a group notice, tell them about the change and wish them good luck
• leave the group
• done

I'm kinda surprised that you're selling us very old core functionalities as if it's a scandalous new LL fukup. Sometimes it makes sense to clue up about something ... before doing it.

Hello.This is NOT truth.

Even if the group owns land it will be disband if it has only 1 member within 48 hours.
